The Cordoba Association for the Development of the Animation Industry organizes the Third Córdoba International Animation Festival (ANIMACOR'07), to be held from 5-10 November.

A new feature of this year's Festival "ANIMACOR'07" is the "First Children's Story Competition", whose five winners will form the Children's Jury for ANIMACOR'07, and will award the "Children's Jury Prize for Best Animation Series Episode".

In addition to the Competition Section, ANIMACOR'07 will again be running morning screenings in schools throughout the city and province of Córdoba; last year, these were a huge success with schoolchildren. Screenings will also be held for adult audiences, as part of the "Information Sessions" to be held at the Andalusian Film Institute. As in previous years, the Palacio de la Merced - headquarters of the Córdoba Provincial Council - will be the venue for a series of training sessions on the use of new technologies in animation.

ANIMACOR'07 will also be holding its trademark Multilateral Animation Coproducers' Forum; following last year's success, the Forum has been extended to two days - 8 and 9 November 2007.
